ButTerCup..hEr B'dAy!!




Hie everyone.. pooja here :)
I made this card for a friend who is really really special to me :D (i call her buttercup and dats y the title says so)
I had initially planned to make a tri-fold card but ended up making a card with 4 folds :P
I have used both the sides of the card to make it look like two diffrent cards with two openings (one teeny ribbon on the left and one on the right)



This is how the card looks when ribbon on the left is untied :) I have decorated a tracing sheet with alphabet cut outs (which says best gal pal) and inserted it on top of a picture to use it as a cover.. a zoomed picture of it has been attached below!! Surrounding them are two butterflies whch have been decked up with gems and shiney stones






This is how the card looks when ribbon on the right is opened :) I have made a small pouch sort of a thing with a white patternd paper to inser a little tag..and next to it is the page  on which i was to write a b'day note (I have used flower buttons and coloured threads to make those borders)



I have again used a tracing sheet to create a cover for the picture I have stuck underneath it :) wanted something bright and nice...so chose to create a  black checkered pattern with a few hearts placed inbetween the checks..
Below is the picture of me and buttercup to which this black checkerd tracing sheet acts as a cover!!

    This is a super kewl card. though i couldnt understand the folds well i loved how u have decorated each page. i do see how special the person is!! Kudos!

    hie karuna :) there was a slight problem with the spacing while inserting the pictures...i just fixed it :D hope you can understand now :D

    I can tell a lot of love went into this wonderful creation :) Its fun and bold and full of eye candy. The front panel started off mostly CAS so I'll leave it in the gallery this time. Just remember we are a Clean And Simple challenge site so for us its all about one clear focal point and lots of open space. While its really not a CAS project, its still a wonderful creation and I'm glad you had fun with our tic tac toe challenge at CAS-ual Fridays.
