InsPireD by A sOng..LOVE STORY!

heyya everyone :D
Its 4 in the morning and I'm still up listening to my favourite love tracks by taylor swift! :D...
This is my first card with a "love" theme.. :P and all thanks to my all time favourite song -LOVE STORY by taylor swift! :) Yes! the very thought of making a card lovey dovey hit my mind a while ago:P
And...guess what!! to my luck...der's a challenge-inspired by a song by moving along with times!! PERFECT! looks like I made this card just for the challenge.. :) lol..

ButTerCup..hEr B'dAy!!

Hie everyone.. pooja here :)
I made this card for a friend who is really really special to me :D (i call her buttercup and dats y the title says so)
I had initially planned to make a tri-fold card but ended up making a card with 4 folds :P
I have used both the sides of the card to make it look like two diffrent cards with two openings (one teeny ribbon on the left and one on the right)

This is how the card looks when ribbon on the left is untied :) I have decorated a tracing sheet with alphabet cut outs (which says best gal pal) and inserted it on top of a picture to use it as a cover.. a zoomed picture of it has been attached below!! Surrounding them are two butterflies whch have been decked up with gems and shiney stones

This is how the card looks when ribbon on the right is opened :) I have made a small pouch sort of a thing with a white patternd paper to inser a little tag..and next to it is the page  on which i was to write a b'day note (I have used flower buttons and coloured threads to make those borders)

I have again used a tracing sheet to create a cover for the picture I have stuck underneath it :) wanted something bright and nice...so chose to create a  black checkered pattern with a few hearts placed inbetween the checks..
Below is the picture of me and buttercup to which this black checkerd tracing sheet acts as a cover!!

pooja ere! sharada wanted me to draw out a few cupcakes so that she can cut 'em out n use it on her cards! it was then dat I felt the need to draw something different n came up with d idea of doodling an ice-cream :P:P I have cut out the cherry,ice cream and d cone in different parts and stuck them with double sided stickers! :) nothing better than colourful buttons to add to the look of this card! <3 i'm so in love with it :D

the VINTAGE effect!!

This picture is supposed to b rotated left! :( wonder why i couldn't do it! tried editing it using various softwares..din work!

Its me pooja :) sharada and me made dis one together... :) took us jus 5 mins... have used itsy bitsy flowers...tried a little heat embossing on it (went a flop)

Have used a piece from a very very very old story book dat my dad gave me... it was HIS BED TIME STORY book..so u can guess hw old it must be :P (i just posted a b'day card I made for him as he turned 54 :P)

The natural brownish colour of the paper made me choose it as a backgroud paper :D as u can notice from the pic... it is a part of some random story:P all in all created a whacky thing! :P

To be really frank.. i had absolutely no plans of making this card :) i landed up making somethng completely different from my original idea! :( but for a surprise.. the result is satisfactory! :D
I have used tiny semi circles to create a scalloped egde effect :) dont have an edge cutter :( (yayyiiee..will b getting one real soon though)
It was a quick card!! fun to make! :)

din't know the right amount of heat required to melt the embossing powder :( but i've learn't it now! eeeee :D:D:D just a free hand drawing with the embossing pen and d result was this! lots more comin upppp (lekin ek choootese break ke baad) kahin math jaiyega..stay tuned to PiNk CraYon HanDmAde CaRd$ :)
(lol... as a person..im soooper dramatic...im called drama queen by many of my friends :P)

Pooja here... my semester holidays have begun...and i'm totally loving it...
i made this card a week ago... used some tiny cute stamps that sharada and I picked up from a local store here in bangalore... used it to create a pattern on the card.. i cut out a small black flower and heat embossed the design on it! :) it looks amazing isn't it?? :D and offcourse...the BROWN ribbon is the star of the show.. it was sharada who insisted on buying this color ribbon even though i wasn't all that keen on using it on anythng coz then it din't impress me evn one bit :P (one big teddy hug shar)

hey ppl :) pooja here! a post from my side after a long gap!! had been really busy with my semester exams! :(
I made this card recently for my dad who turned 54! :D
I have heat embossed the sentiment and hav used checks pappternd paper i've bought from itsy bitsy! I have'nt used a lot of colors coz since its for my dad n he's turning older (not really though..he's still like a 44 yr old :P) i though i'll keep it subtle..so settled in for some black and red colours! :D

Its a Photo Frame!!

Again this is me Sharada posting this one!  this is my first attempt to make a photo frame! and it was a little messy work for me as I  really din know how to do it, but i just randomly made it and I think it has come out pretty well.. its a total up cycle of the old card boxes that I found around!  and I learnt to make these spiral flowers recently.. so  I just made three  different colors and placed them and my very own  itsy bitsy butterflies on the top! and I totally like this one!! nevertheless gotto improvise lots on the technique:)

Another squash book! but made it a little different-two color card papers inside! and my favorite guitar is used as an embellishment on the top with  a really beautiful blue glitter sheet...Tied with a red satin tape! :)

When she turned 19!!

This the first multiple page card I (sharada) ever tried.. I learnt this one from youtube when i was scanning through for some video there.. I made this one for Pooja's 19th birthday!   And she really liked.. I added a couple of pictures and made  2 tags in the card made two compartments in the card and in i used patterned paper in one of it and made a tag there.. wrote something for her and the compartment in the last page of the card next our picture is my most favorite one I've used  2 movie tickets there that is just above those 3 dragon flies there..which we saw together recently! and filled in lots of colorful lollies to make it more interesting! and the last picture  is another tag I made I anded some checkered ribbon stitched a button on that! and this one's my most favorite thing ever!! I hope she is loving it too! I think my first ever experiment on multiple page card turned out surprisingly AWESOME!! :D

The uniqueness of this card is the patterned paper we have used to make it slightly flashy! Again picked it up from a local store (in b'lore)

Finally we have used buttons to give it a 'cute' look :) You can use other things in place of these buttons to :)
